Alabama Democratic Majority is united by the basic belief that
when our values are represented by our elected leaders, we all win.
We need a majority of Democrats and Independents to turn out in every election—from local elections to Governor—and hotly contest the runaway Republican train.
To do that, we need Alabamans in every corner of the state – from Ft. Payne to Fairhope and Decatur to Dothan – to stand up and say that they’re tired of not being heard, tired of not being represented in Montgomery, and tired of the same Republican playbook which is failing our communities and ignoring the needs of countless Alabama families.
Change will take time – but together, a majority of Democrats and Independents working together can get Alabama back on track.
Alabama Democratic Majority will focus on expanding the electorate by registering more voters and mobilizing those Alabamans who are already registered but who have not been engaged in the democratic process. And we’ll use the data-driven, people-focused approach that has helped win grassroots campaigns around the country.
"I believe registering thousands of new voters is the key to winning." – Governor Jim Folsom
"I want to see every eligible voter turn out on election day." – Mayor William Bell
"I believe in reaching out and being inclusive of all Alabamians." – Representative Pat Todd
"I want every eligible voter educated on the issues." – Freddy Rubio
Alabama Democratic Majority is a people-based, metrics driven organization that is dedicated to the idea that volunteers, in their neighborhoods, can and do significantly impact local and state elections.
Alabamans across the state are standing together in the fight. Join us.
Alabama Democratic Majority is united by the basic belief that when our values are represented by our elected leaders, we all win. That’s why in communities and in neighborhoods across Alabama, our team of volunteers and organizers will be knocking on doors, registering voters, and engaging Alabamans to make sure they not only turn out on Election Day but that they also become more involved in the political process to ensure their voices and the voices of their communities are heard.
We need you. Tell us you’re in by letting us know which of the ways to get involved you are most interested in. Of course, you may check more than one.
